Experiments in Smores

This was originally posted on my other blog, What If. I’m moving it – and all of my baking posts – here in the next few weeks.

It’s a simple one tonight.

I was supposed to bake a cake but forgot to buy eggs. This was Brad’s idea for a replacement dessert.

Ironic, considering Brad hates camping.

The Epic Christmas Bake

Every year, I try to keep my baking to a minimum so that I don’t feel too rushed for Christmas.

And every year, I think of more things to make than I could ever possibly bake in the time I have.

So once again, I made a ton of yummy food, but I’ve got a bunch of Christmas movies in the queue and all that baking has left me wanting nothing more than to idle on the couch in my pajamas, so I’m leaving you with only pictures for inspiration for now. Several of these are things that I’ve posted about before, so I’ll blog my successes and failures with the recipes after Christmas.

Experiments in Baking

I love to bake.  I’m not an expert, not by any means, but I’ve been doing it on a regular basis for a few years now, picked up some good tips along the way (as well as making plenty of my own mistakes) and want to share it.  This blog isn’t just about baking – I love all kinds of food – but baking is my foremost edible love.
