About
I love to bake. I’m not an expert, not by any means, but I’ve been doing it on a regular basis for a few years now, picked up some good tips along the way (as well as making plenty of my own mistakes) and want to share it. This blog isn’t just about baking – I love all kinds of food – but baking is my foremost edible love.
It really bothers me that the only thing you ever see is “expert” cooks and bakers doing things expertly! When I first started baking and (inevitably) making mistakes, it made me feel like I could never succeed. That’s a big part of the reason I started this blog, to show that people make mistakes, have their baking come out less-than-perfect, and that’s okay (in fact, it can be pretty amusing). You can learn from those mistakes (usually) and become a better baker for it; for the past few years, that’s exactly how I’ve been doing it. It has made me value those mistakes more, and consider every new recipe an experiment in baking.

If you found my page because you had a problem, made a mistake, don’t understand an instruction, and/or are searching for an answer or just someone to make you feel like you might actually know what you’re doing even if you didn’t do it perfect, feel free to leave a comment or question on any page and I will tell you what I can.
